Chapter Twelve
The next morning, as I sped over the treetops in a transport cruiser, I was still purring. My clit throbbed as I relived the scene in my mind, and I had to pull myself together when the cruiser slowed to a stop.
To my surprise, we were in the garden of a walled compound on the outskirts of the city, instead of at the crash site. For some reason, I’d pictured my crew being held prisoner in the ship.
There were several two-story buildings on the grounds, beautiful stone structures similar in design to the palace, but on a much smaller scale. The door to one of them flew open, and my best friend and first mate, Deena, ran out.
“Commander, it’s so good to see you! We’ve been so worried.” She pulled me into a tight hug, murmuring in my ear. “Everyone here has been so kind to us. We have you to thank for that. They told us you volunteered to mate with their prince to save our lives. I hope he doesn’t treat you badly.”
I thought back to Jalen’s tongue flicking my clit until I screamed, while I was tied to his bed. Warning me I wasn’t to come without his permission or I’d be spanked. Friend or not, I was still her commanding officer. I couldn’t indulge in girlish confessions about how much I loved his domination.
“It’s difficult, at times. But as your captain, I do what I must do for the good of my crew.” Even as I said it, I hoped the Goddess wouldn’t send me to the seventh hell for such a terrible lie.
I spent all day with my crew. My friends. Deena, our climatologist, couldn’t stop talking about all she’d learned. She’d been exploring the planet with a handsome Naxian guard by her side.
“Have you noticed how stable weather conditions are here? I’ve been studying variations in temperature, humidity, wind, precipitation, even atmospheric particle count. This planet is so much like Earth, but without all the man-made pollutants our race trashed the environment with. Their oceans are pristine, maybe because they never invented plastic, and the atmosphere has never been tainted by the use of fossil fuels. They have other ways to run their machines. The transport cruiser that brought you here? It uses the magnetic forces of the planet itself to hover in the air and glides along powered by solar cells.”
Marin, an expert in biodiversity, was working with a team of scientists trying to find out why the shimba were dying out.
“I needed something to do,” she explained. “This place is beautiful, but there’s only so long I can lounge around, relaxing in the sun. It took me a while to get the Naxians to accept my help. They’re so closed-minded when it comes to gender issues. They couldn’t believe a female might have knowledge useful to them.”
I stared at her in surprise. “You’ve seen the shimba?”
“Seen them, talked to them through a Naxian interpreter. They are unique in that they have a written language but they don’t speak.
